For serious guitar owners, humidity control isn’t optional, it’s essential. Dry air can lead to cracks, fret sprout, and other costly damage, especially during Canada’s long winters. Traditionally, the solution has been to keep each guitar in its own case with a small humidifier inside. It works, but it’s tedious, time-consuming, and frankly, it hides your guitars away when you’d rather have them out where you can enjoy them.
At Guitar Haus, we decided there had to be a better way. That’s how our custom guitar humidor rack was born, a single, beautifully crafted piece that protects multiple instruments in one controlled environment, while still giving you easy access to play them.
A Humidor That Works Like a Rack
This unit looks like a high-end guitar rack, but with a faux leather cover with soft backing that seals in humidity. Inside, a large water container keeps moisture levels stable for the entire winter. You can fine-tune the humidity simply by opening or closing the container’s lid. A Govee sensor comes standard, so you can check humidity from your phone anytime.
When warm weather arrives, you can remove the cover and optionally the sides, instantly transforming it into an open display rack with a slimmer look.
Flexible Storage
Unlike fixed guitar stands, this design uses adjustable, padded dividers that can be moved or removed entirely. You can set it up to hold a different number of guitars on each side, for example, five acoustics on one side and more electrics on the other. At full capacity, it comfortably fits ten full-size acoustics or up to twenty electric guitars.
Built for Accessibility and Longevity
An optional swivel base makes it easy to spin the rack for access to both sides, which is especially handy in tighter spaces. Every unit is custom built in our own workshop, using quality materials chosen for durability and a clean, professional appearance.
