Meet Our Instructor
Sean Donley is a versatile musician whose roots run deep in rock, country, bluegrass, and Canadiana. He first picked up the guitar at age 10 and immediately found his passion, leading him to study with numerous instructors across the GTA. At 20, Sean took his commitment to the next level, moving to Los Angeles to attend the renowned Musicians Institute, where he trained under acclaimed players like Dan Gilbert and Al Bonhomme. He’s had the pleasure of playing on stage with the likes of Rudy Sarzo (Quiet Riot), Connor Wicklum, and Dawson Gray among others!
Over the years, Sean has shared his knowledge and enthusiasm at respected music camps and programs such as the Interprovincial Music Camp (IMC) and Guitar Workshop Plus, working with students of all ages. A passionate educator, Sean believes music has the power to shape lives in ways that are often unexpected, and that learning to play should always feel like a meaningful, personal journey.
