From June 13-15, 2024, Furch Guitars hosted an exclusive backstage event at their headquarters in Velké Němčice, Czech Republic. This event brought together guitar enthusiasts, dealers, and industry professionals for an immersive experience into the world of Furch Guitars. Guitar Haus had the privilege of being represented by Stan, who attended to deepen his understanding of Furch’s craftsmanship and bring this knowledge back to better serve our customers.
Day 1: Arrival and Welcome
Stan arrived at the picturesque Barcelo Hotel, where he checked in and took in the beautiful surroundings. The event kicked off at 6 PM with a meet and greet, where Stan got to know fellow attendees and enjoyed a refreshing beer. This was followed by a delightful dinner at a traditional Czech restaurant, where the group savored authentic local cuisine. The evening concluded with a beer tasting session, allowing Stan to experience some of the best brews the region had to offer.
Day 2: Factory Tour and More
The second day began with a bus ride to the Furch factory, but not before Stan enjoyed the best breakfast of his life at the Barcelo Hotel. The breakfast spread featured a variety of fresh, local ingredients that left a lasting impression (he won't stop talking about it).
Upon arriving at the Furch factory, Stan was given an in-depth tour of the facility. The tour highlighted the advanced technology and innovative processes that set Furch guitars apart from the competition. One of the key technologies showcased was the proprietary Full-Pore High-Gloss Finish, which enhances the natural beauty of the wood without compromising the guitar’s resonance. Additionally, Furch's unique CNR System was explained, a revolutionary neck reinforcement system that provides superior stability and playability.
After the factory tour, the group indulged in a wine tasting session, sampling some of the finest wines from the region. The day ended with live music and a lively party that lasted until 2 AM, capping off an unforgettable experience.
