The Alvarez AF70CE is a versatile Orchestra Model acoustic-electric guitar built around a solid A+ Sitka Spruce top, Rosewood back and sides, and a comfortable 24 13/16" scale. With its Shadowburst gloss finish and LR Baggs electronics, it is equally well suited to playing unplugged or amplified.
The OM body shape offers a comfortable balance between size and projection, making the AF70CE a practical choice for players who want a guitar that feels compact without giving up a full acoustic voice. The solid Sitka Spruce top provides a responsive platform that works well across a wide range of playing styles, while the Rosewood back and sides contribute a balanced and articulate response.
The African Mahogany neck is paired with an Indian Laurel fingerboard and a 1 3/4" bone nut. The 24 13/16" scale length gives the guitar a comfortable feel, while the neck joins the body at the 14th fret and provides access across its 21-fret layout.
For amplified performance, the AF70CE is equipped with an LR Baggs StagePro Bronze pickup and EQ system, providing straightforward control over the guitar's amplified sound. The system makes the guitar well suited for live performance, rehearsals, recording, or connecting directly to an acoustic amplifier or PA.
The guitar is finished in Shadowburst Gloss, including the back and sides, with an Indian Laurel headstock facia, Bi-Level Indian Laurel bridge, MOP and acrylic inlays, and chrome closed-gear tuners. Bone nut and saddle components and PPS synthetic bone bridge pins complete the setup.
