Body

The fully hollow maple laminate body is built around Collings' innovative trestle block construction, adding rigidity where it's needed while preserving the open, resonant character of the instrument. This design enhances sustain, improves note definition, and increases feedback resistance without sacrificing the lively response that hollow-body guitars are known for.

Finished in a high-gloss nitrocellulose lacquer, the elegant Tobacco Sunburst beautifully highlights the maple construction. Classic f-holes, tasteful body binding, and premium appointments complete the timeless aesthetic.

Neck

A maple neck is joined using Collings' extra-long mortise-and-tenon neck joint, maximizing stability, sustain, and resonance. The ebony fingerboard features mother-of-pearl long dot inlays, a comfortable 12-inch radius, and medium nickel-silver frets for smooth playability across the entire neck.

The 24 7/8-inch scale length offers a slightly slinkier feel than a traditional Fender-style guitar, making bends effortless while maintaining excellent note definition and tuning stability.
