The Dingwall John Taylor Signature 4-String Bass is a premium collaboration between Dingwall Guitars and legendary Duran Duran bassist John Taylor. Inspired by the acclaimed limited-edition Rio Dream Bass, this signature model pairs bold aesthetics with Dingwall's innovative multi-scale design, delivering exceptional clarity, balance, and effortless playability for discerning bassists.

Constructed with a lightweight Nyatoh body, a five-piece maple bolt-on neck, and a Pau Ferro fingerboard, the JT Signature features Dingwall's renowned fanned-fret system with a 36.25" to 34" multi-scale length. This design optimizes string tension across all four strings, producing tighter lows, articulate mids, and crystal-clear highs while maintaining outstanding playing comfort. Signature appointments include the distinctive "Rio Eye" 12th-fret inlay and custom Rio-inspired headstock artwork created in collaboration with Patty Palazzo.

Three Dingwall FD3n neodymium pickups are powered by a Rupert Neve Designs 2-band active preamp, delivering exceptional definition and dynamic response. Combined with the Quad-Tone pickup selector, active/passive switching, master volume, and master tone controls, the electronics offer an impressive range of tones suitable for virtually any musical style.

Premium hardware includes Dingwall's proprietary Minimalist bridge, lightweight open-gear tuners, a Graph Tech Black Tusq nut, and a magnetic rear battery compartment for quick battery changes.
