Combining meticulous Japanese craftsmanship with premium tonewoods and cutting-edge electronics, this stunning instrument delivers exceptional playability, aggressive tone, and flawless reliability for professional musicians. Finished in an elegant See Thru Black Cherry Sunburst over a beautifully figured quilted maple top, the E-II Eclipse is equally impressive on stage and in the studio.
Its set-thru construction provides effortless access to the upper frets while maximizing sustain, making it an outstanding choice for everything from hard rock and metal to fusion and progressive styles.
Body
The mahogany body is topped with a gorgeous quilted maple cap, combining warmth, sustain, and punch with enhanced articulation and visual appeal. The traditional 24.75-inch scale length gives the guitar a familiar feel with slightly lower string tension, while the set-thru neck construction allows seamless access to all 22 frets and contributes to outstanding resonance.
Finished in a high-gloss See Thru Black Cherry Sunburst, the figured maple top is beautifully framed by elegant white triple-ply binding that extends to the matching headstock, creating a sophisticated, premium appearance.
Neck
The mahogany neck features ESP's fast Thin "U" profile, designed for effortless speed and comfort across the entire fretboard. A premium ebony fingerboard with a 12-inch radius is adorned with iconic mother-of-pearl ESP flag inlays and fitted with 22 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets, offering exceptional durability, smooth bends, and precise note articulation.
A bone nut, satin neck finish, and Gotoh locking tuners provide outstanding tuning stability while maintaining a fast, comfortable playing feel.
Electronics
The E-II Eclipse is equipped with a pair of Fishman Fluence Modern active humbuckers, delivering an incredibly versatile range of professional tones. The neck Fluence Modern Alnico pickup offers warm cleans, fluid leads, and articulate rhythm sounds, while the bridge Fluence Modern Ceramic humbucker delivers crushing output, tight low end, and exceptional clarity under high gain.
A three-way pickup selector, independent volume controls, and a push-push tone control allow players to switch between multiple Fluence voicings, giving access to everything from modern high-output aggression to more traditional passive-inspired tones.
