Inspired by the golden-era slope shoulder acoustics of the 1930s and 1940s, the AB Model delivers a warm, open, and deeply musical voice with the refined craftsmanship and responsiveness expected from a modern boutique acoustic guitar. Built with premium tonewoods and lightweight vintage-inspired construction, the AB offers an exceptionally resonant playing experience with outstanding balance, clarity, and projection.

The combination of a solid Sitka spruce top and mahogany back and sides creates the classic dry, woody tone players love, rich in warmth, midrange character, and dynamic response. Scalloped Adirondack spruce bracing enhances volume and responsiveness, giving the guitar a lively, broken-in feel with impressive headroom and articulation. Whether used for fingerstyle, flatpicking, or vocal accompaniment, the AB delivers a versatile and inspiring sound that feels instantly familiar yet remarkably refined.

Comfort and playability are central to the design. The 25” scale length provides a smooth, relaxed feel while maintaining excellent string tension and note definition. A comfortable 1-11/16” nut width, 16” fingerboard radius, and carefully shaped neck make the guitar effortless to play across the entire fretboard. The bolt-on mortise and tenon neck joint contributes to stability, resonance, and long-term serviceability.

Aesthetically, the AB Model embraces understated vintage elegance. Ivoroid binding, a traditional tortoise pickguard, black/white/black purfling, and an open-pore natural satin nitrocellulose finish give the instrument a beautifully organic and broken-in appearance. Indian rosewood is used for both the fingerboard and bar bridge, while vintage-style brass open-back tuners with cream buttons complete the classic look.

Every detail is thoughtfully chosen, from the bone nut and saddle to the D’Addario XS coated light gauge strings and included TKL hardshell case. Lightweight, responsive, and full of character, the AB Model captures the soul of a vintage slope shoulder acoustic while offering the reliability and craftsmanship of a finely built modern instrument.
