Built by Santa Cruz Guitar Company in California, the FS was designed with solo fingerstyle players in mind, emphasizing responsiveness, note separation, and tonal balance. This example, serial number 995, dates to the mid-to-late 1990s and features an elegant F-body design with a Florentine cutaway for comfortable upper-fret access.
The solid East Indian rosewood back and sides pair with a warm-toned soundboard, delivering a detailed, articulate voice suited to intricate fingerstyle playing. An ebony fingerboard with decorative upper-fret inlay, rosewood headstock veneer, and gold Gotoh 510 Delta tuning machines complete the refined vintage aesthetic. An aftermarket soundhole pickup has also been installed for amplified performance.
