Handcrafted in Santa Cruz, California, the Santa Cruz H13 draws inspiration from the rare 1930s Gibson Nick Lucas models, pairing a compact 00-style body with a 13th-fret neck joint. This custom-ordered example features master-grade fiddleback flamed maple back and sides, offering striking figuring and a distinctive tonal character. Combined with a solid Sitka spruce top and deep body, the maple construction delivers clear note definition, focused low-end response, and rich harmonic detail. Serial number 1661, this H13 includes an interior label signed by Santa Cruz Guitar Company founder Richard Hoover and its original hardshell case.
