At its core is an alder body shaped using Yamaha’s Acoustic Design Technology, optimizing resonance and vibration transfer between neck and body for a balanced, lively tone. The slim C-shape maple neck with a compound 10–14" maple fingerboard delivers effortless playability, while the carved neck heel and body contours ensure comfortable upper fret access. Medium stainless-steel frets add durability and smooth bending response.

The Reflectone pickup set, co-developed with Rupert Neve Designs, offers articulate highs, solid lows, and outstanding dynamic range. With an HSS configuration, 5-way selector, and push-pull coil split, the PACP12M covers everything from sparkling cleans to full humbucker drive with ease.
