A solid Sitka spruce top is paired with solid Santos rosewood back and sides, producing a rich, full-bodied voice with deep bass, clear trebles, and impressive projection. Forward-shifted Adirondack spruce bracing, Japanese hide glue construction, and reverse Honduran mahogany kerfing contribute to a lively, open response with outstanding sustain and dynamic range. An enlarged bluegrass soundhole further enhances volume and projection, making this guitar particularly well suited to flatpicking while remaining articulate for fingerstyle playing.
The comfortable D-shaped Khaya mahogany neck features carbon fiber reinforcement rods for added stability, a double-action truss rod, and a smooth 14-inch radiused ebony fingerboard. Premium details such as a polished 45 mm bone nut, 60 mm bone saddle, and Grover open-gear tuners ensure excellent playability and dependable tuning performance.
