The Cole Clark Angel 1 AN1-BB is an Australian-made acoustic guitar featuring an all-solid construction and locally sourced tonewoods. Built in Melbourne in February 2013, this non-cutaway Grand Auditorium model combines a solid Bunya top with solid Australian Blackwood back and sides, delivering a distinctive voice with warmth, clarity, and strong projection.
The internally carved soundboard is a key feature of Cole Clark's construction approach, designed to enhance resonance and responsiveness. A Queensland Maple neck and a Sheoak/Rosewood fingerboard complete the instrument.
With its combination of native Australian timbers, thoughtful construction, and practical Grand Auditorium body shape, the Angel 1 is well suited to fingerstyle playing, strumming, and general acoustic performance.
