The Dingwall NG Signature model, developed with Adam “Nolly” Getgood of Periphery, combines advanced Dingwall engineering with Darkglass Electronics to deliver a modern rock bass with clarity, punch, and precision. This 5-string fanned-fret instrument excels in both studio and live performance settings.

Body & Neck

Built on an alder body with ergonomic contours, the NG is balanced and comfortable to play. The bolt-on 5-piece maple neck and maple fingerboard provide bright, articulate response, while the fanned-fret design (34–37 inches) ensures tight, defined lows and smooth playability across all strings.

Pickups & Electronics

The bass features Dingwall FD3n neodymium pickups and the Darkglass Tone Capsule preamp for versatile tonal control. It includes a 3-band EQ (Bass, Low-Mid, High-Mid), master volume, 4-position Quad-Tone pickup selector, and an active/passive toggle, allowing everything from punchy, aggressive tones to clear, nuanced low-end.

Hardware

Tour-grade hardware includes lightweight licensed Hipshot Ultralite tuners and staggered individual string bridges for optimal sustain and resonance. A recessed jack socket and magnetic rear battery cover make maintenance simple, while every detail is engineered for stability and professional performance.

Strings

Dingwall nickel strings, designed for multi-scale instruments, provide balanced tension for optimal tone and playability. They deliver tight lows and clear, singing highs for versatile performance.
