Built as part of the Ibanez VISIONS Custom Shop, the IV2RG is for players who demand precision, versatility, and refined craftsmanship in every aspect of the instrument.

Neck Through Construction for Effortless Playability

The IV2RG features a Super Wizard 5 piece Maple and Purpleheart neck through construction, providing exceptional stability and smooth playability. With a slim 17mm profile at the first fret and a flat 430mm radius, the neck offers comfort, speed, and control across the full 25.5 inch scale length.

The Ebony fretboard delivers tight lows, focused mids, and sharp attack. A detailed Tree of Life inlay highlights the craftsmanship and Custom Shop pedigree.

Jumbo Stainless Steel Frets with VISIONS Custom Shop Fret Edge Treatment

Equipped with 24 jumbo stainless steel frets, the IV2RG provides long-lasting durability, clear articulation, and strong sustain. The VISIONS Custom Shop fret edge treatment ensures a smooth, consistent feel across the entire neck.

Burl Maple Top and Black Limba Body

A 4mm Burl Maple top showcases unique grain patterns, while the Black Limba body adds warmth, resonance, and tonal depth. This combination produces a versatile sound ideal for everything from clean passages to high-gain performance.

DiMarzio Pickup Configuration for Maximum Expression

The IV2RG is loaded with a DiMarzio pickup set:

• Air Norton neck pickup for warm, expressive tones
• True Velvet middle pickup for clear articulation
• The Tone Zone bridge pickup for rich mids and high output

Paired with a 5-way pickup selector, this setup covers a wide range of musical styles, from fusion and progressive rock to modern metal and blues.

Professional Hardware and Stability

The IV2RG includes the Lo Pro Edge tremolo bridge, locking nut, Gotoh machine heads, and Gotoh strap lock pins. These components provide precise tuning stability, smooth operation, and reliability under demanding performance conditions.
