Built in El Cajon, California, the 1998 Taylor 612ce is a Grand Concert cutaway that combines a comfortable body size with the clarity and responsiveness Taylor guitars are known for. Its solid Sitka Spruce top is paired with beautifully figured flame maple back and sides, giving the guitar a distinctive natural appearance and a bright, articulate voice with crisp highs and focused note definition.
The compact Grand Concert body is well suited to fingerstyle playing and detailed acoustic work, while the Venetian cutaway provides convenient access to the upper frets. Equipped with a Fishman Prefix onboard blender system, this vintage Taylor offers both undersaddle pickup and microphone blending capabilities for greater control over its amplified sound.
